Attendance calls beginning Monday, August 28 for absences.

Skylert is the interface that enables families to receive notifications concerning students. Families will have the ability to update their communication settings on the Family Access page.  On August 28th, our YES Prep Families will also be receiving attendance calls home if their students were marked absent for that day. These are automated calls from Skylert. Please expect these calls from our systems if you plan for your child to be absent at anytime this year. 

Emergency notifications and Attendance calls CANNOT be disabled for the Primary Guardian contact.  

Attendance calls through Skylert will begin on Monday, August 28. If a student is absent, the family will receive an “Attendance Call” through Skylert. This attendance call is automated and will run the following schedule to the primary guardian:  

Attendance Call Schedule:  

ELEMENTARY

• First notification: 10 a.m.

SECONDARY

• First notification: 10:30 a.m.
• Second notification: 3 p.m.

Please note, when families change their phone numbers/emails in Family Access, it will be updated immediately in Skyward (Family Access). However, it will not update in Skylert until the following day.  

Families will receive an email from Skyward (Family Access App) and Skylert about these features on Monday, August 28th.
