MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Cavalier Families-

As we wrap up our first semester of the 22-23 school year and enter the holiday break, I want to say how grateful I am that you trust us with your child’s education. We have so many wins from our first semester this school year that I want to share with you:

Win #1: Our after school program has been a big success. We have a ton of clubs through ACE, including student council and gaming club, and our athletics program is better than ever!

Win #2: During Quarter 1, 331 Brays Oaks students earned all As or A & B Honor Roll!

Win #3: 100% of the class of 2023 (our seniors) took the SAT in October!

Spring semester is a very important time for our students. We are preparing for STAAR and Advanced Placement exams and promotion to the next grade level. It is very important that every Cavalier come back in January ready to focus on academics and meeting campus expectations. A few reminders and support we need from each of you:

1. Students need to be in class at 8:30am every morning. Also, students have 4 minutes to transition between classes. Please encourage your child to be on time to all classes so they don’t miss out on instruction.
2. Pajama pants are not allowed for students. Beginning in January, we will be calling parents to bring another pair of pants if a student comes to school in pajama pants.
3. Cell phones and headphones are not allowed to be used in class. Have your student keep their headphones/air pods at home and remind them that their cell phone should be put away during class time.

 

Let’s work together to make sure your child continues to shine at Brays Oaks. Have a restful holiday break. We look forward to starting the semester strong with your child on January 4^th, 2023!
